Welcome to BACOLAW
Licensed since 2005, the Bachelor of Laws programme of the Bola Ajibola College of Law (BACOLAW), is structured as a single five-year programme at undergraduate level. The different areas of specialization emphasized by the College are reflected in the three departments below which shall be at the graduate level and continuing professional development. Each department is headed by distinguished law academics:
- Department of Commercial and Property Law;
- Department of Jurisprudence and International Law, and
- Department of Islamic and Customary Law.
Philosophy of Law Programme
The Programme is carefully designed to:

Ensure a good grounding in the mechanics of the legal process as well as an understanding of both the common law and Islamic law.

Produce legal minds with the ability to undertake critical thinking and analysis of the law within socio-economic and political context.

Make students undertake studies in the Social and Applied Sciences so as to have abroad-based knowledge of other fields useful for achieving a practical knowledge of the law.

Introduce the students to Alternate Dispute Resolution processes and mechanism and encourage them to attain professional associates.
