Judge Bola A. Ajibola (SAN, KBE, D LITT, LLD, FCI.Arb, FNIALS, CFR)

Judge Bola A. Ajibola is a highly accomplished and distinguished legal professional with a remarkable career in international and Nigerian law He holds prestigious titles and has served in various prominent positions. With a robust educational background, including studies at the University of London and the Council of Legal Education, he became a respected barrister-at-law.

Judge Ajibola has held esteemed international posts, such as President Judge of the World Bank Administrative Tribunal and Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom. He has made significant contributions as a judge at the International Court of Justice and the Constitutional Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Additionally, Judge Ajibola has held prominent positions, including honorary Attorney-General and Minister of Justice and President of the Nigerian Bar Association. He has been actively engaged in the legal profession and played a vital role in various committees and councils.

Throughout his career, He has been recognized for his expertise and dedication, receiving numerous accolades and honors. Notably, he has been a strong advocate for human rights and has significantly contributed to the advancement of the legal profession in Nigeria.

Vice Chancellor

Professor I. Gbajabiamila – BSc (Hons) (Lond.), PhD (Lond.), MILT (Lond.), C.Biol, MIBiol, FLS (UK)

Professor Ibraheem Gbajabiamila, the Vice Chancellor of Crescent University in Abeokuta, is a distinguished academic and leader. Born in Lagos State, he received his primary and secondary education in London before earning his first degree in Microbiology and a PhD in Virology from the University of London. With over 20 years of experience in various London universities, he reached the position of Head of Extra Mural Science.

Joining Crescent University in 2010/2011 as the Deputy Vice Chancellor and Professor of Virology, Professor Gbajabiamila has been instrumental in the university’s success. Under his guidance, the university achieved 100% accreditation for all its programs. Graduates of Crescent University have excelled, with many earning first-class honors at the Nigerian Law School and securing coveted positions in prestigious organizations such as the BBC, CBN, Nigeria Customs, and Nestle Foods. During his tenure, the College of Health Sciences, which includes departments of Nursing, Anatomy, and Physiology, was established.

Beyond his expertise in Virology, Professor Gbajabiamila is a passionate advocate for Yoruba culture and language. He actively promotes its preservation and has delivered masterclasses on various topics related to Yoruba communication, film narratives in Yoruba movies, and the history of Yoruba theater. He values interdisciplinary research and engages with subjects beyond his own field.

Professor Gbajabiamila’s significant contributions to knowledge, human capital development, and community service have earned him numerous academic, professional, and community awards. He is highly regarded as a speaker and academic manager, known for his eloquence, humility, and effective resource management. As the Vice Chancellor of Crescent University, he continues to inspire excellence among students and faculty while making valuable contributions to the institution.

Barrister ZA Ajibola, – LLB(Bucks). LLM.(Malta) BL(Nig.)

Barrister ZA Ajibola is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in both Nigeria and the United Kingdom. He received his primary and secondary education in both countries and went on to obtain an LLB degree from the University of Buckingham. After completing the Nigerian Law School, he became a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 1992.

Continuing his legal education, Barrister ZA Ajibola attended the IMLI Institute in Malta, where he earned an LLM degree. In 2000, he qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales. Throughout his career, he has practiced law in both the public and private sectors in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

Barrister ZA Ajibola is a member of various professional organizations, including the International Bar Association, the Nigerian Bar Association, the Law Society of England and Wales, and the London Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has also been associated with the Association of University Administrators in the UK.

With his diverse legal background and expertise, Barrister ZA Ajibola brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role in university administration.

Mr. JA Bankole – B.Sc. (Nsukka), MBA (Ibadan), FCA, AMNIM, ACTI

Alhaji Jimoh Bankole, born in Ogun State, overcame early challenges to achieve great success. Despite his father’s initial reluctance, he attended secondary school with the support of a tenant who offered to sponsor his education. After working as a classroom teacher, he enrolled at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he studied accounting and graduated with a Second Class Upper degree in 1984.

Alhaji Jimoh Bankole served his NYSC at the University of Ife and started his career as an Internal Auditor II at the same institution. He later transferred his service to the University of Ibadan, where he rose through the ranks to become the University Bursar in 1999. He held the position for two terms, until September 2009. During this time, he obtained a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Ibadan in 1996.

Alhaji Jimoh Bankole is a distinguished member of several professional bodies, including the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, the Nigerian Institute of Management, the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.

His remarkable journey from challenging beginnings to becoming an accomplished professional demonstrates his determination and dedication. Alhaji Jimoh Bankole’s expertise and experience in the field of accounting make him a valuable asset to any organization.

Dr. Mulikat O. Salaam – B.LS., M.LS., Ph.D.

Dr. Mulikat O. Salaam is an accomplished and passionate librarian who brings a wealth of expertise to the University. With a strong educational background and extensive experience in the field of library science, Dr. Salaam is dedicated to fostering knowledge and promoting learning.

Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Library Science (BLS) with Second Class Upper Division, a Graduate Certificate of Education, a Master of Library Science (MLS), and a Doctor of Philosophy. Dr. Salaam pursued her studies at renowned institutions such as the University of Ibadan and Ahmadu Bello University, further enhancing her knowledge and skills.

As an active member of the Nigerian Library Association, Dr. Salaam served as the General Secretary for the Ogun State Chapter from 1996 to 2002. She has also made significant contributions in the academic sector through her previous employment at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.

Dr. Salaam’s unwavering commitment to knowledge dissemination and her expertise in library science make her an invaluable asset to our organization. She is dedicated to creating an enriching environment that supports learning, research, and personal growth.
