Over 40 Crescent University Staff Get ANUPA Induction
The Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA) has admitted 46 Crescent University administrators as its professional members.
The new members were presented their certificates during the inauguration and a public lecture delivered by Dr Hakeem Bola Adekola, former Registrar of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta titled “Managing Change in University Administration”.
The induction and inauguration of new members at Crescent University, Abeokuta was conducted by the National President of ANUPA, Dr Victor Bem and his team members, Mrs Francisca Ayodele (Vice President 1) and Barr. Isaac Adinya Ataben (National Legal Adviser).
Dr Bem unveiled that the bill to confer a chartered status on ANUPA had gone through a second reading in the national assembly, adding that after the third reading, the association would be upgraded into conducting examinations for new members.
In a related department, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibraheem Gbajabiamila presented certificates of training to inducted members while promising continuous support to the university administrators.
In his remarks, the Registrar, Barr. Zakariyya Ajibola said the inauguration of new ANUPA members was one of the programmes that coincided with Crescent University 20th Anniversary celebration year.
He described ANUPA as a reputable association which stands shoulder to shoulder with other leading professional associations like Nigeria Institute of Management,Nigerian Institute of Public Relations,Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria and several others.
He also appreciated efforts of Dr Mrs Olubukola Kolawole Deputy Registrar Establishment for initiating and facilitating the process which started off with internal administrative staff training and development.
The pioneer executive members of Crescent University chapter of ANUPA was also sworn in as Mr Hakim Ogunsola emerged Chairman; Mr Lateef Ajetunmobi (Vice Chairman), Modupe Bello (Secretary), Mosurat Ajakaye-Ishola (Welfare Officer), Khadeejah Salaam (Financial Secretary),Rahmat Ibraheem (Treasurer), Fausat Aremu (Sub Welfare Officer)
