About the Registry, Crescent University Abeokuta
The Registry is the engine room for university administration and is headed by the University Registrar who is the Chief Administrative Officer of the University. The Registry serves as a repository for important university documents and records. It is responsible for the dissemination and circulation of important university information and plays an important role in policy implementation and compliance with university regulations. It serves as a primary port of call for public enquires and its central to handling internal and external communication for the university.

Registry Units
At Crescent University, the primary function of the Registry is carried out through the following units:

The Registrar’s Office
The Registrar’s office is in overall charge of Registry affairs and serves as the secretariat for all major university organs. It coordinates all administrative functions and duties of the university.
The Establishment Office
This office plays an important role for staff throughout their service to the university. It functions as the managing office for all personnel matters. It handles issues of recruitment and employment of staff as well as providing administrative support for the evaluation, appraisal, and promotion process. It holds university staff records and helps with the management of matters concerning employment status, staff entitlement, and regulations relating to staff conduct. It provides information and advice to staff from their point of entry to their time of exit.
The Admission’s Unit
This forms a vital part of university management of new intakes. It handles all students’ admissions and registration. The unit serves as a link between the institution and examination bodies like the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB), the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), the National Examination Council (NECO), and others. Its functions also include the screening of credentials and provision of Admission Letters to prospective candidates
The Exams and Records Unit
This office is responsible for the safekeeping, management, and retrieval of all students’ academic-related records. It handles requests for the issuance of academic transcripts as well as other academic documents often requested from students, other academic institutions corporate bodies, and public offices for the purpose of verification of academic records.
